Membership Options TSV’s MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE!!! In order to serve the membership better, be more accessible and keep TSV vital and dynamic; Trinity has membership options available. (implemented on November 1, 2005.) EXISTING MEMBERSHIPS A membership purchased before November 1, 2005 will be honoured and will mirror the new FULL Production and Post Production Membership as the services and costs are the same. Once a current membership expires, members can renew under the new options. MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS: PRODUCTION ONLY: $100.00 (NEW) This membership provides access to all of TSV’s mobile equipment. Member rates for workshops also apply to this membership. The suites can be rented at intermediate rates. Members can vote, serve on committees and receive the TSV newsletter. POST-PRODUCTION ONLY: $100.00 (NEW) This membership allows access to TSV’s editing suites. Members have access to mobile equipment, which can be rented at intermediate rates. Members can vote, serve on committees and receive the TSV newsletter. Members who purchased a PRODUCTION ONLY or a POST-PRODUCTION ONLY membership, but who later wish to upgrade to the full membership can do so at anytime in the year by paying an additional $50. However this will only upgrade their membership until the end of their initial membership expiry date. BOTH PRODUCTION & POST-PRODUCTION: (Existing Membership) $150.00 TSV members receive access to production and post production equipment at individual rates. With this membership, members can vote, serve on committees and receive the TSV newsletter. STUDENTS AND SENIOURS (65+): Production ONLY or Post-Production ONLY $75.00 (Save $25) Both Production & Post-Production $100.00 (Save $50) ASSOCIATE: $25.00 Associate membership provides access to the e-newsletter. The Associate Membership does not provide the Member with access to any equipment and an Associate Member cannot vote at the AGM. Workshop instructors, who may not have any use of TSV for equipment currently, must take out an Associate Membership in order to teach. This new structure was created by Trinity to help serve you better for all your independent video making needs. The changing technological landscape means that our members’ needs are becoming more specific. In conjunction with the new Membership Structure, TSV will be implementing a new Volunteer Strategy. NEW VOLUNTEERING OPTIONS: In order to facilitate networking at TSV and create opportunities for members to play a role in the organization, TSV members will be encouraged to participate on several committees. Members will be asked to select at least one committee to volunteer on and will be expected to attend 3 meetings/events, a minimum of 4 hours is required. Members who do not want to do the volunteer option, or opt out of a committee will have to pay a 20% surcharge until it reaches a max of $100. *Volunteer Committees include: Membership, Promotions, Equipment, Website, Workshops Office Help, Gallery, and Fundraising / Social.
