Trinity Square Video stands in solidarity in the fight against systemic racism and the historic/contemporary oppression of the Black community. We stand with artists, storytellers and creators of colour who share their stories and speak truth to power through their practices. We endeavour to always holding safe space for Black, Indigenous and artists of colour to create and share work.
To be anti-racist is to not be neutral and to not be complacent in silence. We are an institution committed to the continual work of divesting from white supremacy and its attendant supports. We are an artist-run centre dedicated to nurturing, advancing, and protecting the well-being of the artists and communities we serve. Please know that our resources are yours, always.
To our white & non-black community, it is our responsibility to educate ourselves, our families, and friends in the work of anti-racism. Below are some national and international resources for calls-for-action, localized education, and opportunities for monetary support.
