After Effects Animation Basics: Paths, Masks and Keyframes

Geared to animators/media artists, or interested artists, this is an introductory workshop for the expansive possibilities of Adobe After Effects. Paths, masks and keyframes are a highly flexible starting point for the creation of animations in AfterEffects. Grasp how to effectively manipulate layers using these functions, which are the foundation for morphing, particles, and 3D. Participants are guided through the program’s interface, concepts of composite editing, masking, graphics, and animation. Learn how to import and prep media from other applications; assemble clips on a timeline; add and customize effects; utilize keyframes to animate masks, effects, and motion in your clips.
