Workshops

Intermediate Colour Grading with DaVinci Resolve in person

Effective colour grading is an essential part of the post-production pipeline. In this workshop you will learn more about the new technology of digital colour correction: this allows you to improve your video in subtle ways that will attract and interest more viewers and help you tell your story or create your project more effectively. You will learn to use additional tools for colour grading with DaVinci Resolve in this hands-on workshop.

Learn how to better organize your clips, understand LUTS (Look Up Tables), and basic techniques for secondary corrections and tools, changing colours in each area of the frame such as: power windows, curves, key framing, and many more tools. Next learn how to better plan your shots for colour correction. Students are encouraged to bring their own videos to work on an 3.0 USB external hard drive.
