INTERVIEW CRAFTING, Celebrities – TV – Social Media SM is a 5 sessions Intensive In-Person workshop introducing the skills for successful interviews for media festivals, conferences, and broadcast. Learn how to craft interviews successfully. From start to finish, all aspects of crafting interviews will be addressed such as research, questions, equipment, set up, shooting and editing. Media Creator/Content producer Bahaa Talis’ media career spans several decades throughout Africa, Europe, and now North America and he will be teaching you the ropes.

Biographies:

Bahaa Talis

Bahaa Talis is an accomplished TV writer, producer, and media creator. In 2007, Talis worked at one of Egypt’s leading TV channels as a segment producer for national prime time TV. As his interests in contemporary arts grew, Talis began producing his own unique content, which generated a recorded weekly show called FELKADR, a showcase for short films and festivals. He continued working in television, eventually joining a production titled Arabwood directing celebrity interviews and post-produce Middle Eastern news within a large commercial setting.

In 2011, the Egyptian revolution was quickly unraveling in Cairo. Talis focused his passions on collaborating with organizations such as The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) as well as foreign TV crews such as ARTE Germany. He was able to raise socio-political awareness about what was happening on the ground for the next several years. Talis has received International accolades from publications such as the Huffington Post Italia and TIME magazine.
