Every media artist should know how to handle their affairs. This workshop will give an overview of the importance of business affairs including basic contracts and agreements that every artist needs, how to protect your work legally and tips and tools around working with legal counsel.
X-WAVE workshop series continues at Trinity Square Video. X-WAVE is a BIPOC-centred Workshop series. A safe space to learn and build your career. A place for BIPOC talent to engage with others and share knowledge. In 2019, Maya Bastian in partnership with Trinity Square Video started a series of workshops specifically for BIPOC participants; which refers to the next wave of filmmakers, video artists and storytellers that we know will redefine our culture through their diverse lived experiences.
