TouchDesigner is a robust node-based programming environment allows the creation of complex & interactive systems for immersive digital artworks.
It can be used for video projection mapping, interactive installation and audio-visual performance, to name a few examples. In these TouchDesigner intensive series of workshops, you will learn how to create interactive work with live data and Kinect, composite 3D scenes with generative textures for immersive projection work, and explore MIDI input for live performance.
Some previous knowledge of TouchDesigner will be an asset, however, beginner levels are also welcomed.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
1. Your own laptop (windows, mac, linux) and a charger;
2. Headphones;

Kwasi Bugyei is a Toronto based installation artist and design thinker. A former member of the TSV Board of Directors, Kwasi is working on a variety of performance art projects as well as a docu-series profiling his encounters within the arts scene titled Creators Corner. Kwasi is now a Hxouse Tenant. “Working in multiple media form factors has presented me with many opportunities to assist in productions ranging from installation and set design to fashion film photography and wearable technology.” Kwasi is currently learning to bridge his mediums for future work.
