TouchDesigner INTENSIVE (IN PERSON)
You will learn how to create interactive work with live data and Kinect, composite 3D scenes with generative textures for immersive projection work, and explore MIDI input for live performance with TouchDesigner. Some previous knowledge of TouchDesigner will be an asset, however, beginner levels are also welcomed.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
1. Your own laptop (windows, mac, linux) and a charger;
2. Headphones;

4. If you have a video adapter (Apple mini DVI, HDMI, or VGA), please bring it with you. Trinity Square Video will provide projectors.

Biographies:
Kavi (Ilze Briede)
Kavi (Ilze Briede) is a Latvian/Canadian artist and researcher with a broad cross- and inter-disciplinary practice that focuses on the phenomenon of perception and the constraints and boundaries between the senses and knowing. Kavi is currently pursuing a PhD in Digital Media at York University, intersecting art and science research areas such as bio-physiological sensing, computational creativity, and generative art.
