October 15 / 12pm-5pm / with Jessica Thalmann / $100 Non-member / $80 Member

In partnership with Gallery 44, you will investigate the intersection of photography, cinema and video art, and the ways in which the image plays an important role in understanding time and space around us.  Jessca Thalmann will assist participants in making connections between artists and filmmakers who straddle the boundary between still and moving image and the ways each discipline influences one another. Participants will have the opportunity to test out equipment from G44 and TSV, with a focus on camera movements and angles, cinematic techniques and composition.
